IC Insights Announces: It will be permanently closed on December 30
IC Insights President Bill McClean recently announced that, in conjunction with his retirement and TechInsights' acquisition of The McClean Report, IC Insights will permanently close on December 30, 2022 after 25 years in business. The subsequent "The McClean Report" will be published by the TechInsights platform.
It is reported that IC Insights was established in 1997 and mainly provides analysis reports on the semiconductor market of integrated circuits, optoelectronics, sensors/actuators and discrete devices. Founded in 1989, TechInsights mainly provides reverse engineering services, advanced technical analysis and IP services, headquartered in Ottawa, Canada. On October 20 this year, TechInsights announced the acquisition of IC Insights, extending semiconductor mergers and acquisitions to industry research institutions.
When announcing the acquisition of IC Insights, Gavin Carter, CEO of TechInsights, said: "The McClean Report has become the annals of the semiconductor industry. Bill McClean decided to entrust the reports and services of this industry value organization to TechInsights, I am deeply impressed Proud. IC Insights customers can now view, search, and interact with The McClean Report within the TechInsights platform."
